Axis Part #
The Axis Communications M1025 Network Camera, with a 1/2.7"" progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor, is ideal for recording at small locations. It supports recording 1920 x 1080p using h.264 or M-JPEG compression, and features a microHDMI output (720p) for public display. The 3.6mm lens provides a wide angle of view, and the camera's 2MP resolution supports Digital PTZ, allowing you to digitally pan, tilt, or zoom on the image, without the severe image degradation that that would occur with standard definition cameras.
The camera is ONVIF Profile S compliant, allowing you to use it with other available cameras (not included) as well as ONVIF Profile S compliant NVRs (not included). You can power the camera from the included power supply or by PoE, allowing you to install the camera anywhere you can run an Ethernet cable, without having to worry about an AC power source for the camera. The integrated microSD card slot supports micro SD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards up to 64GB for local recording.

Wide Dynamic Range
A view area is a cropped part of the full view. The view area is treated as a video source in Live View and has its own video stream and PTZ settings
Overlays are used to provide extra information, for example for forensic video analysis or during product installation andconfiguration. Overlays are superimposed over the video stream.
An overlay text can display the current date and time or a text string. When using a text string, modifiers can be used to display information such as the current bit rate or the current frame rate
An overlay image is a static image superimposed over the video stream. The image, for example company logo, is used to provide extra information or to mask a part of the image.
Camera Tampering can generate an alarm whenever the camera is repositioned, or when the lens is covered, sprayed or severely defocused.
Motion detection is used to generate an alarm whenever movement starts or stops in the camera view.
Available action rule triggers and conditions include:
Motion Detection - Trigger the rule when motion is detected.
Tampering - Trigger the rule when tampering is detected.
Network - Trigger the rule if network connection is lost or restored. This can for example be used to start recording to the SD card.
Input Signal- Manual Trigger - Trigger the rule using the Manual Trigger button in the Live View page.
PTZ Moving - Trigger the rule when the camera view moves due to a PTZ operation. This can, for example, be used as an additional condition to prevent an action rule triggered by motion detection to record video while the camera view moves due to a PTZ operation. - Preset Reached - Trigger the rule when the camera stops at a preset position.
Storage- Available - Trigger the rule when the storage device is unmounted or removed. This can, for example, be used to send maintenance notifications.
Full - Trigger the rule when the storage device is full. Under normal operation, the oldest recordings will be overwritten to prevent the storage device from becoming full.
Locked - Trigger the rule if the storage device is locked (write protected).
System - System Initializing - Trigger the rule when the product is being started. This can for example be used to send a notification when the product restarts.
Time - Recurrence - Trigger the rule periodically. This can, for example, be used to upload an image every 5 minutes.
