The Arecont Vision MegaKit 3MP UK Camera Kit consists of the AV3105DN H.264 3MP MegaVideo camera and MPL4-10 lens, and comes with a UK power cord, PoE injector, CAT5 retractable cables, PoE camera focusing tool, Arecont Vision case and a mini tripod stand.
Featuring a 1/2” CMOS sensor, the AV3105DN delivers clear images in H.264 format and maintains full motion progressive scan 2048 x 1536 video at 15 fps to deliver high-quality imagery. It sustains over 80 billion operations per second, and supports both H.264 and MJPEG formats simultaneously. The camera uses a mechanical IR cut filter to switch between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting.
With a minimum illumination of 0 lux, the day/night camera offers increased sensitivity and delivers clear images even in low light conditions. Additionally, moonlight mode can be activated in low light areas to capture more light. The multi-streaming feature enables you to stream up to 8 non-identical streams with different frame-rates, bit-rates, resolutions, and picture quality.
Forensic zooming allows the camera to become a replacement for other PTZ devices, and also allows you to zoom either live recordings or ‘after event’ video when recording the full field-of-view in HD. This is useful when the CCTV video footage needs to be previewed and analyzed in criminal and other legal cases. The auto backlight compensation feature adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light.
The on-camera motion detection feature consists of 64 detection zones. When motion is detected, either an audio alarm triggers or recording starts. The camera is powered by PoE, which supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
With the auto multi-matrix white balance feature, the camera takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in different light conditions. The Picture-in-Picture feature allows you to view the full field-of-view as well as the zoomed part of the image at the same time. The programmable shutter speed helps you control the motion blur, resulting in crisp and clear images. A recording ability at 1/4 resolution helps the camera save bandwidth and storage space too.
The MPL4-10 lens, featuring a 4.5-10mm focal length and a F1.4 aperture, supports 1/2" image format. It is IR-corrected allowing easy switching between color and B&W modes as per changes in ambient lighting. The lens offers enhanced sharpness and illumination, and reduced distortion, for improved image quality. In addition, it features manual iris control and CS-mount.
