Arecont Vision has introduced its next generation of SurroundVideo day/night 8-megapixel H.264 cameras that provides 180-degree panoramic views. Arecont Vision AV8185DN is a cost-effective solution for application where mechanical PTZ devices might otherwise be used or where multiple cameras would be necessary to view expansive coverage areas.
Each new SurroundVideo camera incorporates surface-mount and in-ceiling mounting options, as well as an IP66-rated environmental chassis and 5.5-inch polycarbonate dome, eliminating the need for an external housing. Model AV8185DN provides a 180-degree panoramic view, using four 2-megapixel sensors that can be switched between day and night manually or automatically.
